ΒιΆΉΣ³» Hosts OLE Health Food Drive
Rosaura Segura, president, ΒιΆΉΣ³» Board of Trustees, (right) was one of the many volunteers who helped prepare 2,000 bags of food for the nearly 1,000 plus families who visited the campus for OLE healthβs free food distribution on Friday, May 22.
Inaugural Dr. Ed Shenk Excellence in Student Service Award
ΒιΆΉΣ³» has launched the βDr. Ed Shenk Excellence in Student Service Award,β announced Oscar De Haro, assistant superintendent/vice president, student affairs. De Haroβs executive assistant, Martha Navarro, is the inaugural recipient of the award, created to recognize and honor student service staff members who have contributed to the success of ΒιΆΉΣ³» students through activities that promote student learning, retention and growth.

Professor Ann Gross reflects on 32 years at NVC
The year Ann Gross started teaching parti-time at NVC, in 1988, British ski jumper Eddie the Eagle was soaring through the air at the Calgary Olympics, and Cher won the Oscar for best actress in Moonstruck.
